Horizon Helicopters is a leading provider of helicopter transportation services in the north and is 100% locally owned and operated in Whitehorse, Yukon. The vast majority of our pilots and engineers are Yukon residents, so you can be sure you are flying with a company who knows the Yukon intimately.

We proudly operate a fleet of Airbus AS350 and EC120 aircraft. We specialize in vertical reference, environmentally-sensitive work, and mountain operations in the challenging and unique flight environments of the Canadian North. We also offer personalized charters and scenic helicopter tours including heli-biking utilizing our Aero Design helicopter bike rack. 

Our company’s number one priority is providing the absolute safest and most efficient helicopter transportation and maintenance services in the industry. Horizon Helicopters has a very thorough and extensive safety program implemented. Our health and safety program works in conjunction with Transport Canada’s requirements for the development of a Safety Management System and exceeds national standards. We strive to be leaders in aviation safety and pride ourselves in maintaining excellence in this field. 

We are conveniently based at the Whitehorse Airport, behind the Yukon Transportation Museum. Additionally, we have a satellite base in Dawson City.
